Gold Key Lake

Our 3 lakes are perhaps Gold Key’s main attraction. Gold Key Lake itself is approximately 120 acres and is a natural, glacial spring fed lake stocked with walleye, bass and others each year.

There is a boat launch area, boat racks and boat slips at “South Beach” which is located at the south end of Gold Key Lake.  All boats need to be registered and have a GK Boat Sticker placed on your boat before putting your boat into the water.

To sign-up for boat racks, dock space and a boat sticker please visit the Gold Key Office.

Gold Key Lake has a roped off swim area and a roped off children’s swim area, near our community building, which is supervised by 2 to 4 certified lifeguards.  We have a floating trampoline, a floating slide and a floating swim platform.  The lake swimming area is open from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.  Beach hours are posted under “Departments-Beach and Recreation” and on the monthly Key Notes.  Please contact the Recreation Room for up to date information/beach hours at 570-686-2922.
